Kam Seng Aung
Kam Seng Aung, a native of Bhamaw, Kachin State, found himself deeply passionate in violin playing since childhood. He subsequently studied with Hkawng Hkawng, who helped him discover a lifelong love for classical music. After he graduated from Lisu Theological Seminary in 2013, he was fortunate to meet the family of Donata Elschenbroich and Hubert Scharding, who brought him to Germany to further his violin studies. He enrolled in the pre-college program at Dr. Hoch's Konservatorium and studied under Heidrun Becker and Yvonne Smeulers. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree at Kassel "Louis Spohr" Music Academy with Anette Watlther. He is also studying composition with Frank Gerhardt. Under his tutelage, two of his compositions were premiered. His studies in Germany have been made possible by a generous scholarship from ‘Brot für die Welt’.

Joshua Weitzel is a composer, improviser, sound artist and curator from Kassel, Germany. His work is mainly concerned with an element collaboration. He has collaborated with many of the leading figures in the wider spectrum experimental music and Jazz. Together with Nicola Hein he was featured on the annual CD of the German Society for Electroacoustic Music (degem CD 18 20_20), curated by Stefan Fricke. He is currently artistic research associate for sound art and sound research at ARS (ART RESEARCH SOUND) at the University of Mainz and a PhD-Candidate in Music at the Edinburgh College of Art.
